$7 Cost Per Free Trial
Objective
A well-known personal fitness clientclient was looking to leverage Perform[cb]’s in-app display network to increase free trials and new user installs, while meeting a specific eCPA goal.
Approach
Perform[cb] initially launched a CPA campaign per advertiser’s request. The team then layered on a CPI campaign simultaneously, leveraging partners who have performed well on campaigns such as BetterMe, BodyBuilding.com, Breethe, ClassPass, Lasting, and Runtastic to create a blueprint for success.
Results
By adding a CPI campaign to run alongside the CPA, this fitness app saw over 2,000 free trials, a 19% increase in the first 45 days. Using optimizations, the Perform[cb] team has been able to bring the marketer’s cost per free trial to an average of $7.
