Budget Groups & Pixel Groups: Clickbooth’s Newest Advertiser Improvements
At Clickbooth, our vision is to empower our advertisers to scale their ROIs, using our one-of-a-kind technology to deliver consistency, quality and scale. The Clickbooth Performance Exchange offers performance advertisers more control than ever over their marketing spends with features like device and geo targeting as well as dayparting. As our advertisers have taken advantage of the advanced capabilities of the system, some of the top requests among advertisers are the ability to share budgets across offers and group pixels. This month, we released both.
Clickbooth EVP of Advertisers, Lee Aho says, “Advertisers leveraging the Clickbooth Performance Exchange maximize performance by focusing on campaign optimizations and enhancements. Our newest feature release, highlighted by Budget Groups and Pixel Groups, provides innovative solutions that allow advertisers to shift resources from tedious campaign management to ROI-increasing campaign optimizations. We’re building tools for smarter marketing, catapulting our advertisers ahead of their competition.”
Budget Groups allow the user to select 2 or more offers to “share” a single budget. Perfect for advertisers looking to split test offer pages, to set one budget for multiple geo regions, or to share one budget for multiple products or brands.
“This was a really exciting challenge for the team to solve, there is no other platform – not even Facebook or Google – that allows an advertiser to have both a Budget Group and an individual offer budget,” says Sasa Drekovic, Clickbooth Senior Web Developer.
Budget Group Benefits:
Aid in split testing multiple offer pages
Set a single budget for multiple geo regions
Share only one budget for multiple products or brands
How to use Budget Groups:
To set up a budget group when creating a new offer you will want to expand the Advanced Budget section.
Here you can select ‘Create New Budget Group’. A window will appear where you can name your budget group and fill in the parameters of your desired budget. Once you click on ‘Create’ you now have an active budget group.
To add an already existing offer to a budget group you can easily click on the Settings Wheel for the offer and select ‘Edit’. Here you can scroll down to Advanced Budget and select your created budget group. Be sure to click save when you are finished.
Pixel Groups are perfect for advertisers who manage a high volume of offers with identical fields and conversion paths. For example, an auto insurance advertiser who creates state specific offers by device type and day-parts can leverage a single pixel. This enhances the efficiency and convenience of their offer creations.
Pixel Group Benefits:
Manage multiple offers with similar fields or conversion paths
Enhance efficiency and convenience of offer creation
Perfect for Advertisers with a high volume of offers
How to use Pixel Groups:
To set up a pixel group when creating a new offer you will want to expand the Advanced Pixels section (For Main Conversion or Upsell or both).
Here you can select ‘Create New Pixel Group’. A window will appear where you can name your pixel. Once you click on ‘Create’ you now have an active pixel group.
To add or remove (by selecting ‘None’), an already existing offer to a pixel group you can easily click on the Settings Wheel for the offer and select ‘Edit’. Here you can scroll down to the Advanced Pixels section (For Main Conversion or Upsell or both) and select your created pixel group. Be sure to click save when you are finished.
*Please note, the appropriate pixels must be placed on the proper conversion page(s) in order for our system to track the conversions.
To manage/view all pixel groups you have created, begin by clicking the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner, next to your account name, and select ‘Pixel Groups’ from the dropdown. Here you can create/manage and edit your existing groups.
“Clickbooth’s new software has made it easy to adjust plans in real time. It helped us get rid of brick & mortar locations, outsourcing and staff reduction while increasing sales from $3mm in 1995 to $12-to-15 million today,” says longtime Clickbooth Advertiser.
