Employee Spotlight: Meet VP of Client Services, Angie Stockman

Our award-winning affiliate management agency has a new leadership team, promoted internally to successfully lead the way for both our clients and team members. We are diving into what excites them in their new day-to-day, learning more about who inspires them, and a few facts along the way! This week, learn more about Angie Stockman, VP of Client Services, former Director of Accounts.

When did you join Perform^[cb]? Were there any key factors that influenced your decision to join our team? Did you have prior experience working with an affiliate agency, or was this your first step into the industry?

I joined the Perform^[cb] team in January of 2021. I have just under 20 years of senior-level online marketing experience and have been in the affiliate industry since 2013. I’m excited to advance Perform^[cb]‘s Agency alongside an amazing and talented team of industry leaders.

How has Perform^[cb] helped nurture your career development thus far?

In May 2022, I was thrilled to accept the role of VP of Client Services for the Agency. I have endless gratitude and thankfulness for such an honest, hardworking, and collaborative agency team that we’ve all built together at Perform^[cb]. We have such a bright future ahead with both our clients and team members!

Who has been the most influential person within the organization for you?

Our CEO Erin Cigich’s Perform^[cb] story is truly inspiring. Starting with an entry-level strategist position and climbing the ladder to the top reveals many influential characteristics: her dedication to Perform^[cb]’s success, a deep understanding of the company ground up, and, of course, an unshakable work ethic.

What do you enjoy most about Perform^[cb]’s company culture?

Perform^[cb]’s company culture embodies a unique group of passionate and dedicated individuals who love our work and truly believe in the vision. We take pride in supporting each other, celebrating each other’s achievements, and cultivating a collaborative effort as we grow, learn, and influence the future of the agency together.

What is your favorite part of your new role?

It’s been really rewarding to build this fantastic team of client and partner support experts. I learned early on that it’s important to hire people who are smart and passionate about the industry, because then all you have to do is empower them, and you get incredible results.

If you could give your teenage or childhood self a piece of advice, what would it be? Why?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Often, people in your circles are eager and willing to do whatever they can to help you advance in your career, however, they aren’t always going to offer it automatically. Reach out and let people know what your career goals are!

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

I’ve had a lot of fun previous “Conversation Starter” work experience. I was an Attractions and Resorts Specialist at Walt Disney World. I traveled the world as a professional Mystery Shopper and Integrity Auditor. I was an On-Camera Host interviewing celebrities for a paranormal documentary series and I used to own a Tour Guide company that gave historic & ghost tours through Orlando, Florida.
