Ignite OPM Launches Wikibuy Affiliate Program
Ignite OPM is excited to announce the launch of the Wikibuy Affiliate Program!
Wikibuy is a free browser extension that helps users find better prices by automatically applying coupon codes at checkout. In addition to applying coupons, Wikibuy lets users know when prices have dropped on products they’ve previously viewed or purchased. Wikibuy started as an Austin-based startup and was acquired by Capital One in 2018. When Wikibuy was acquired, the company had an active community of over two million members and had helped those users collectively save over $50 million. The “wiki” in Wikibuy was derived from the idea that one customer’s shopping helps other users find savings. Using technology and the power of community, Wikibuy expedites the online shopping experience to take a fraction of the time.
Ignite’s Digital Marketing Specialist, Hannah Ervin, uses Wikibuy regularly while online shopping and has nothing but good things to say about the Chrome extension. “Regardless of what I’m shopping for, Wikibuy always finds a way to help me save. I’ll be about to checkout and Wikibuy pops up with (sometimes several) offers for me to take advantage of! It’s the cherry on top of shopping online.”
The Ignite team has been ramping up for the launch of the Wikibuy affiliate program and can’t wait to grow the program. Account Manager, Billy Hulbert, says that he’s anticipating huge growth given the recognition of the Wikibuy name backed by Capital One. By targeting publishers in the FinTech and shopping space, he sees limitless potential for the program.
The Ignite OPM team is excited to work as an extension of Wikibuy’s marketing team to align strategy and secure the successful scale of their affiliate program.
