Ignite OPM Launches ColourPop Affiliate Program
Ignite OPM is ecstatic to welcome the ColourPop Affiliate Program to the Ignite client family!
ColourPop is the cosmetics powerhouse, born and bred in Los Angeles, CA. Founded in 2014 by siblings Laura and John Nelson of Seed Beauty, the company prides itself on being both budget-friendly and cruelty-free. ColourPop is in good company, as Seed Beauty also owns Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty. The brand first started as an e-commerce business, which grew into selling wholesale to retail stores. ColourPop had its first partnership with Sephora and launched a Disney Designer collection, inspired by six Disney princesses, in 2017. Most recently, the brand partnered with Ulta Beauty in 2018. On top of its flourishing retail partnerships, ColourPop has earned industry recognition for a variety of its high-quality products from major publications such as Teen Vogue, Glamour, OK!, Nylon, Temptalia, and Influenster.
The Nelson siblings made a conscious choice to market ColourPop primarily on social media to the millennial generation. Their plan worked seamlessly, as ColourPop currently boasts an impressive 6.7 million followers on Instagram. With the recognition and following consistently rising, ColourPop won’t be slowing down any time soon.
Ignite Digital Marketing Specialist, Hannah Ervin, has used ColourPop cosmetics in the past and was so excited to hear of the program’s launch. “I’ve used a few of their lipsticks before and they stay on for, like, 8 hours at a time. No reapplying, no problem. Their products are also so affordable, I can try a few shades at a time without breaking the bank.” ColourPop’s mission to produce high-quality makeup at cost-effective rates is a major key for Hannah and the rest of the Ignite team (who can’t wait to try the vast product lines)!
Senior Account Manager, Max Johnson, and Account Coordinator, Emily Okrzesik, are so pumped to be launching ColourPop’s program. When asked about strategy, Emily noted she’s looking forward to driving new customer acquisition for such a strong brand focused on providing users great value while remaining cruelty-free.
