A new wellness brand specializing in massage therapy tools, Lyric, was looking to launch an affiliate program to drive growth and reach new audiences. The brand launched its affiliate program with Perform[cb] Agency in Q3 of 2021, and securing content placements with high-quality publishers was a main priority in preparation for the holiday season.
In order for this new brand to make noise in the wellness vertical, Perform[cb] Agency sought to secure content inclusions that aligned with Lyric’s target audience. With major shopping holidays on the horizon, the Agency team quickly began recruiting and onboarding top partners across a variety of publications. Additionally, samples and vanity codes were distributed to publishers to increase brand awareness and reach in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
In the first three months after launch, Perform[cb] Agency was able to significantly scale Lyric’s affiliate program by targeting productive partners pre-launch and, ultimately, securing 18 content placements with notable publications, including Thrillist, Wired, and POPSUGAR. The brand saw a 258% increase in revenue month-over-month from October to November and is projected to increase revenue by 17% month-over-month from November to December. The Agency team is eager to continue scaling this wellness marketer’s affiliate program to provide them with revenue growth and maximum reach.
